My music career began with my father Luis Valenzuela when he showed me what he knew of guitar playing. Then four years later I joined my first professional band which was a local Spanish band, and well, the rest history. From then on I joined other local bands which played from Country, Jazz, Top 40, Classic Rock, Blues, and Flamenco.
In 1990, I and another musician from Las Cruces, NM received local and national radio play and recognition with unsigned bands out of Los Angeles. These bands were made up of artist from all around the U.S. Some of the band included players for Jefferson Starship, Loverboy, Steve Miller and Blue Oyster Cult. There was a write up on what they thought of my Guitar style and compared me with artist such as Carlos Santana, Joe Satriani, and Stevie Ray Vaughn.
Now I'm Playing a different style of music that's been getting attention from all age groups and people of different back grounds and countries. People have said my music is relaxing and even therapeutic. I hope my music can do the same for you.
