Unlike many yoga classes at the gyms which focus solely on the physical benefits of yoga, PremYoga is designed to make a difference not only in your body, but in your life. We can recognize that the mental commentary that robs us of peace on the yoga mat (i.e. “If I push hard enough, I’ll look pretty good.”) shows up in life as well, but doesn’t necessarily bring us greater fulfillment. PremYoga is designed to help you master the mind and bring balance to your yoga practice and life.
Prem Shakti has been practicing yoga since 1974 and was one of the founders of Kripalu Yoga in Lenox, Massachusetts. She lived and studied yoga in India for several years and in 1996 founded the PremYoga and Wellness Center in West Palm Beach, Florida. She has taught and trained hundreds of yoga teachers and facilitates several seminars each year on chakras, enlightenment intensives, workshops and retreats at the PremYoga & Wellness Center. This CD is a recording of one of Prem’s Basic classes narrated as if you right there in the classroom!
