    Song Notes
    The music for the CD this song can be found on was originally written in 1996. It was dedicated to three good friends, Sheila, Valerie and Judy, women who had bravely dealt with cancer and were powerful examples of strength and hope to all of those around them. Since the release of this CD, I have lost more friends to cancer and have a few who were recently diagnosed with it. The extraordinary fortitude and courage that these men and women have shown in dealing with this illness has inspired many of us to pause and think about how we use the precious time that we have been given. Recently, I decided to rework the original music and to expand upon the musical themes to reflect the positive energy, strength and love for life that these friends have shown in the face of this dreaded disease. This music is a celebration of life and the transition from one realm to another.

    Description: "For Three Friends" is an album of beautiful, slow moving piano music softly interwoven with flute and strings. This music is perfect for slowing down racing thoughts and quieting the mind so we can focus on whatever task is on hand. It is 64+ minutes long and continuous without break and maintains the same gentle feeling from beginning to end. These beautiful piano and instrumental sounds will put you in a state of total relaxation!
