Ute Bonn, aka Voicedancer, grew up in Germany and has been living in the US since 1992. Singing was always a big part of her life and she remembers that she was already improvising and creating songs as a young child. She rediscovered her gift a few years ago, when her own songs started to manifest.
As a songwriter, producer, recording and performing a capella artist, she created her own style of music with a uniqueness that comes through in each song. Her multi-colored voice weaves the songs together with lush harmonies and rhythmic vocal backgrounds, making them come alive and touch the heart of her listeners. On her recordings, she uses multi-tracks to create a rich and engaging sound using only her own voice, and she performs with a looping device to multiply her voice during her stage performances. Many listeners have experienced the healing quality of her voice and the inspiring messages of her songs.
Music without words means leaving behind the mind. And leaving behind the mind is meditation.
